Unlocking of Exp Share in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Following the same trend seen in recent games, you no longer need to actively unlock the Exp Share function in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Instead, it is automatically activated once you have a second Pokemon in your group.
As you advance in the game tutorial, Demon will eventually teach you to catch your first wild Pokemon, Leching. After catching it, it is added to your group and will also gain experience even if you do not use it in the battle.
Of course, there are also some limitations for Exp Share in Scarlet and Violet. The Pokemon who were active in the battle will obtain the total amount of experience obtained from the fight, while the Pokemon in your reserves will only get a fraction of the experience.
