CD Projekt Red is on a momentum. Just after our first look at how cyberpunk 2077 will play on console, we have another look at night city on the ground thanks to a brand new trailer of gameplay. If you thought this game looked good on Xbox Series X, well, you’re right. But we can now declare with confidence that cyberpunk 2077 seems fantastic in general – and if these little glimpses of his combat system are something to judge, he will also play fantastic. Each movement is fast and fluid, each shot is weight. I felt like I was going to miss something every time I blinked. Originally broadcast as part of Night City Wire Episode 5, this trailer is definitely something special. Enter this broken future and look for yourself.

CYBERPUNK 2077 is based on a series of niche table RPGs, originally titled simply CyberPunk and followed by a series of extensions with names like cyberpunk 2020. originally published in 1988, these games explored a dark future of high technology and lowlives. Unfortunately, we are now in 2020, and no one can be made surgically implant functional swords in the arms – at least, no one we know – so CD Projekt Red had to place its video game adaptation a little further in the chronology. Here’s another amusing fact: Johnny Silverhand, here played by Keanu Reeves, was originally inspired by David Bowie. That’s a change!
CYBERPUNK 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia. It will also be playable on Xbox Series X | S and PS5. A new generation free upgrade will be available for Owners of Xbox One and PS4 versions respectively at a later date.
