A Twitter account disclosed HBO images from The Last of Us
Published by Twitter account @Thelastofusnews, images have leaked the filming of the new HBO series based on The Last of Us . Presumably following events similar to the first game, we see Pedro Pascal like Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Anna Torv like Tess. Through a series of tweets, we have a glimpse of the astonishing design of character costumes because they seem to have been removed from the game. The rubble covers of foam bordering the streets of Edmonton, where the shooting ended the last night.
According to rumors, the filming will continue in Calgary, imitating the adventure that the characters took Boston during the first game. From what we have seen, the scenography is absolutely incredible. Reproduce something that stayed for 20 years can be a monumental task, especially when you do not have 20 years to lose.

Films based on video games have always been disappointing for many, the infamous uwe Boll realizing dubious films based on titles such as Far Cry, House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark. With the series The Last of US benefiting from the monstrous financing of HBO and the skills of Pedro Pascal behind the roll, the series has the best chances to succeed. Nature focused on Naughty Dog games should allow excellent adaptations.
Only the time will tell us if the Screenwriters Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann decide to follow the plot of the game or to adopt an alternative chronological approach of the series. They might decide to fill the gaps of the game, where time passed over periods of months. The only disadvantage of this approach is that these periods have been ignored for a reason because no development occurred. This dilemma is the madness of video game movies and television broadcasts.
